Description

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Intern to join our team as a WordPress Website and SEO Assistant. This internship opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about web development, SEO strategies, and has a keen interest in assisting with WordPress website management. As an Intern, you will work closely with our digital marketing team to support website development and implement SEO best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, including updating content, installing plugins, and ensuring website functionality.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including keyword research, meta tag optimization, and content optimization.
  • Perform website audits to identify and address SEO issues, such as broken links, page speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Conduct research on SEO best practices, industry trends, and competitor analysis to make recommendations for website improvement.
  • Support the creation and optimization of website content, ensuring it is SEO-friendly, engaging, and aligned with the brand voice.

    – Monitor website analytics and generate reports to assess website performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress, including familiarity with themes, plugins, and website customization.
  • Basic Understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write SEO-friendly content.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated on web development and SEO trends.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be a plus.
